Winter Commencement Video Stream - Saturday, January 28, (9:30-11:30 a.m. Central time) – To view a real-time video stream of winter commencement at the Omaha Civic Auditorium, just go to The Big Day page www.bellevue.edu/thebigday and click the video link. You may have to do an easy one-time Silverlight Player download. Tune in early to see pre-recorded video “Shout Outs” from some of the 450 individuals participating in commencement exercises.

Lunch and Learn Speaker Series – Thursday, February 2, (11 a.m.- Noon) Bring your brown bag or carry-out food to the Multi-purpose Room located on the lower level of the University’s Administrative Services Building on the main campus (the tall building on top of the hill) for a program titled “CIA Perspectives and the Proliferation of WMDs.” The presenter will be Mr. Ken Stiles, CIA Officer in Residence at the Great Plains National Security Education Consortium. Mr. Stiles currently is a visiting professor at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.

High School Academy – Saturday, February 4, (10 a.m.- 2 p.m.) Invite your high school-age child or grandchild and come to the University’s main campus in Bellevue for what promises to be a lively and informative debate titled "Occupy Wall Street vs. Tea Party.” The free program is sponsored by the University’s Center for American Vision and Values, and lunch is provided. College of Business Speaker Series – Wednesday, February 8, (Noon to 1 p.m.) University alumni are welcome at the next Speaker Series program in the Symposium Room, located on the lower level of the University’s main campus Administrative Services Building (the tall building on top of the hill). The program presenters are Omaha-area entrepreneurs Jenny Farha Galley and Sarah Farha Troia, founder-owners of the Denim Saloon retail business in Dundee.
