ASTORS Recognizes BU Security Management Program

BELLEVUE, Nebraska – Bellevue University’s Security Management degree program has received the Gold Award for the Best Homeland Security Education Program from American Security Today. This is the fourth consecutive year the program has received the ASTORS award.

Winners were honored at the ASTORS Homeland Security Awards Luncheon in New York City on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

American Security Today honors the new and established vendors and organizations that are providing innovative solutions to address the evolving homeland security threats.

Bellevue University’s Security Management degree integrates concepts from business, criminal justice, security, and emergency management to help ensure professionals are well-prepared to plan and manage processes that protect against risk, such as emergency and disaster management and planning, threat assessment, and the evaluation of public safety.
