Bellevue Leader to Participate in Eduventures Summit
Thought leaders will gather in Chicago to reimagine the future of education
Dr. Matt Davis, Executive Vice President and Dean of the College of Engineering, Technology and Management at Bellevue University, will participate in a panel discussion on disruption in the online program management (OPM) market at the upcoming Eduventures Summit, June 12-14, in Chicago.
The panel discussion, “Disruption in the OPM Market: Implications for Schools and Companies,” is scheduled for Thursday, June 13. It will be moderated by Chris Gardiner, Eduventures Principal Analyst.
Bellevue University is one of the nation’s top online universities and 96% of its students attend fully online. Bellevue pioneered online learning, offering the nation’s first online MBA program in the mid 90s. The University has always managed its online degree and certificate programs in-house without using an OPM service provider.
The OPM market is facing numerous challenges with pending federal regulation, major companies exiting the market and higher education institutions examining the pros and cons of managing online academic programs on their own.
