Bellevue Receives Recognition of Achievement Award at Eduventures Summit
People and Business Leadership Certificate Program Recognized for Redesign That Advances Student Performance and Success
Bellevue University, one of the nation’s top online universities, received a Recognition of Achievement Award at the 2024 Eduventures Summit last week in Chicago.
The award recognizes Bellevue University’s success in transforming teaching, learning and student support in its People and Business Leadership Certificate program, which is the University’s top-enrolling certificate program. Bellevue University was one of eight institutions to receive either Recognition of Achievement Awards or Innovation Awards.
“One year after the certificate program transformation project, we improved completion rates by double digits to more than 90% across all student populations and enhanced student and faculty satisfaction with the learning and teaching experience,” said Dr. Matt Davis, Executive Vice President and Dean of the College of Engineering, Technology and Management.
Dr. Davis added that the lessons learned during the transformation initiative are being applied to other Bellevue University certificate and degree programs with similar results.
Now in its eighth year, the Eduventures Awards Program honors organizations and teams that are shaping the future of higher education. Entries are designed to identify higher education institutions that have demonstrated significant innovation when developing and implementing programs that impact enrollment, student experience and outcomes.
