Documentary Focus and Panel Discussion
Bellevue University adjunct professor Joseph Giitter will present his documentary, Car-Centric, during an event hosted by the Omaha Downtown Improvement District on Monday, April 14, from 6-9 p.m. at Film Streams’ Ruth Sokolof Theater, 1340 Mike Fahey St.
The event, titled Reimagining Omaha: Car-Centric Documentary & Community Conversation, is free and open to the public.
Giitter, who also serves as Chair of the ODIDA Activation Committee, examines how Omaha can move away from being one of the most car-centric cities in America and why this is necessary for the city to prosper and grow.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring individuals working in planning and transportation:
