Bellevue University Alumni Recognized in Midlands Business Journal ‘40 Under 40’ List

Forty community leaders from different backgrounds and organizations were recognized through the Midlands Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” awards - and a number of them were Bellevue University alumni.
The annual “40 Under 40” list recognizes emerging community leaders who are making a positive impact on the community.
Leaders recognized by Midlands Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” awards in 2023 who have Bellevue University ties include:
- Trevon Brooks, Nebraska Department of Economic Development
- Brandon Brown, ServiceNow
- Cara Cool-Trede, Avenue Scholars Southwest Iowa
- Dorothy Johnson, Gener8tor
- Kristin Lowrey, Access Period
- Bridgette Watson, Council Bluffs Schools Foundation
Six of the 40 leaders recognized hold at least one degree from Bellevue University.
