Ashlea Rodriguez, Manager of the Bellevue University Military Veteran Services Center, was among the 40 community leaders recognized this year through the Midlands Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” awards.

The Midlands Business Journal's annual recognition highlights leaders across various industries who make significant contributions to their communities.

Rodriguez, also a Bellevue University alum, provides day-to-day management of the University's center that serves an average of 500 veterans on site each month. Her team connects veterans to a variety of services in areas ranging from education to career transition guidance. In her role, she oversees approximately 25 community partnerships with nonprofit organizations that provide a variety of essential services to veterans, active duty military personnel and military families.
