Bellevue University Announces 2nd Annual BruinCon Set for Oct. 28

Attendees Can Experience Cosplay, Ghostbusters, and More!

Bellevue University invites all geeks, nerds and fandom enthusiasts to its second annual BruinCon on Saturday, Oct. 28, 1-4 p.m., in the Margre H. Durham Student Center on the University’s main campus, 1008 Bruin Blvd., Bellevue, Nebraska 68005.

According to event coordinators Jessica Omer and Allison Schafer, attendees are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the free event by dressing up in their favorite costume and joining in on the family friendly event. 

To ensure a seamless experience, attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance. While walk-ins are welcome, pre-registered guests will receive priority entrance.

Key activities include:

  • Cosplay costume photo gallery
  • Raffle and prize drawings throughout the afternoon
  • Fun interactive activities
  • Martial arts demo
  • Vendor booths with interactive displays and goods for purchase


Entry to BruinCon is absolutely free! However, all attendees should familiarize themselves with and adhere to the BruinCon rules and regulations, available for download below.
