Bellevue University Business Professor Publishes Book on Leadership

Willie Brown

Bellevue University Adjunct Professor Willie Brown recently wrote and published a book, “At His Command: A Practical Guide for Spirit-Led Leaders,” focused on leadership principles honed during nearly 32 years of military service.

Brown, a pastor and commander in the U.S. Navy, said "this book is designed to give any director, manager, department head, and/or supervisor who is too busy to read a 400-page leadership instructional book the tools he or she needs to quickly and realistically make a positive impact on their organization. My principles … get to the point without all the fluff.”

Brown added that the book is well suited for individuals in organizations, as well as those working in religious entities.

As an Adjunct Professor for Bellevue University since 2019, Brown has taught courses ranging from Health Information Technology to Legal and Regulatory Issues and Human Resources in Healthcare. He currently teaches Fiscal Management in the University's College of Business.  In addition to his teaching, Brown is the Senior Pastor of New Covenant Ministries Next Generation in Jacksonville, Florida.

“At His Command," is available on Amazon.
