Bellevue University College of Business IACBE Accreditation Reaffirmed

The Board of Commissioners of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) recently announced that Bellevue University has been granted reaffirmation of specialized accreditation of the business and management programs offered through its College of Business. 

The Bellevue University College of Business has held IACBE accreditation since 2018. The reaffirmation extends the IACBE accreditation through 2030.

The IACBE accreditation means that the College of Business at Bellevue University has undertaken a rigorous self-evaluation; has undergone a comprehensive, independent peer review; and has demonstrated compliance with the following accreditation principles of the IACBE:

  • Commitment to Integrity, Responsibility and Ethical Behavior
  • Quality Assessment and Advancement
  • Strategic Planning
  • Business Curricula and Learning Opportunities
  • Business Faculty Characteristics, Activities and Processes
  • Student Policies, Procedures and Processes
  • Resources Supporting Business Programs
  • External Relationships
  • Innovation in Business Education

In addition, the Bellevue University College of Business has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education, and advancing academic quality in its business programs and operations.

According to Dr. Rebecca Murdock, Dean of the University’s College of Business, “Specialized programmatic accreditation by the IACBE is a means by which students, parents, the business community, and other stakeholders of the institution can be assured that the academic business unit complies with high principles of excellence and follows best practice in business education.” Dr. Murdock added that “Bellevue University is proud to have this additional accreditation reaffirmed, in addition to our accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission.”
