Business and Management Programs Within College of Business Demonstrate Compliance

The Board of Commissioners of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) recently announced that Bellevue University has been granted reaffirmation of accreditation of the business and management programs offered through its College of Business.

The IACBE accreditation means that the College of Business at Bellevue University has undertaken a rigorous self-evaluation; has undergone a comprehensive, independent peer review; and has demonstrated compliance with the following accreditation principles of the IACBE:

  • Outcomes assessment
  • Strategic planning
  • Curriculum
  • Faculty
  • Scholarly and professional activities
  • Resources
  • Internal and external relationships
  • International business education
  • Educational innovation

In addition, the Bellevue University College of Business has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education, and advancing academic quality in its business programs and operations.

According to Rebecca Murdock, Dean of the University’s College of Business, “Specialized programmatic accreditation by the IACBE is a means by which students, parents, the business community, and other stakeholders of the institution can be assured that the academic business unit complies with high principles of excellence and follows best practice in business education.” Murdock added that “Bellevue University is proud to have received this additional accreditation in addition to our regional accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission.”
