Bellevue University has launched a 100% online Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program designed to empower aspiring tech enthusiasts with the knowledge and skills to excel in the dynamic world of technology.

The program’s focus is intentionally broad to ensure students have a strong foundation in computing principles such as algorithms, data structures, programming languages, cybersecurity and databases. Students can choose elective courses to deepen their skills in targeted areas, ranging from in-demand AI to DevOps skills and more.

“As the demand for innovative technology grows, so does the demand for people skilled in the application of computer science to create the solutions. It is exciting to be able to offer a fully online computer science program that blends computer theory with practical computing skills,” said College of Science and Technology Assistant Dean Jim Lewis.

“I think there are a lot of students who will appreciate the opportunity to participate in a program like this,” he said, “especially because they can complete it entirely online.”
