Bellevue University Launches Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology
Program Paves the Way for Careers in Health, Wellness and Physical Performance

Bellevue University has launched a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology program for students who are interested in pursuing a career in exercise science, sports or even chiropractic medicine.
The program offers on-campus classes that accommodate the working professional’s schedule, face-to-face learning, valuable hands-on interaction and relationships with talented faculty.
Throughout the program, students will embark on an in-depth exploration of health assessment methodologies, allowing them to evaluate an individual's well-being. They will look into the intricate mechanisms of how the human body reacts to various states, such as physical exercise, dietary habits, and other lifestyle choices. This understanding will enable students to formulate strategies to optimize health and wellness based on scientific principles.
Students will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience through a comprehensive internship. This component ensures learners can apply their skills in practical settings.
“At Bellevue University, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of academic excellence,” said Program Director Kara Meisinger. “Our new Kinesiology program is a testament to our commitment to creating a rich learning environment and producing the next generation of professionals who will lead and innovate in their respective fields.”
Meisinger added that the Bellevue University program is geared to the demands of various sectors. The program also provides an excellent foundation for those looking to transition into Life Chiropractic College West's Doctor of Chiropractic program. Life West has opened its second campus location at Bellevue University.
