Bellevue University Librarian to Bring 1930s History to Life in Plattsmouth
Bellevue University librarian Jessica Omer will give a presentation at the Plattsmouth Public Library (401 Avenue A, Plattsmouth, Nebraska) on Thursday, May 22, at 6:30 p.m.
The presentation, titled Gangsters vs. Nazis, will focus on events from the 1930s when support for Nazi ideology began to appear in the United States. It will examine how a judge, a rabbi, and a group of gangsters acted to stop its spread.
The event is open to the public at no cost.
