Bellevue University Marketing Students Win 2022 AMA Pinnacle Awards

Bellevue University Master of Strategic Marketing and MBA students won three of of the four student category awards at the 2022 American Marketing Association (AMA) – Omaha Pinnacle Awards held June 8, 2022.

  • Tamala Shepherd won the Bronze Award for “Peloton Interactive Digital Brand Evaluation”
  • Rod Felton won the Silver Award for “Nebraska State Fair Entertainment”
  • Brian Pickering won the Pinnacle Award for “Impact of Financial Literacy Apps”

Bellevue University students have submitted work for consideration by AMA-Omaha for the past 18 years. 

"Participation in the AMA Pinnacle competition is a valuable experience for Bellevue University students,” Randa Zalman, Associate Professor of Marketing, said. “Acknowledgment in the competition highlights and reinforces the real-world marketing skills that are learned in class. Students gain positive exposure at one of the industry's highest-profile regional events and have the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of industry professionals who make recruiting and hiring decisions.” 

The AMA Omaha Pinnacle Awards recognize campaigns that emphasize creative strategies that have delivered proven measurable results.  Student entries were judged and scored with a point system by industry marketing professionals.
