Bellevue University Now Accepting 2025 Nominations for Ethical Leadership Award
Nomination Deadline Extended — There’s Still Time to Submit Your Nominee
Bellevue University’s Ethical Insights Committee is now accepting nominations for the Ethical Leadership and Service Award.
The annual award recognizes a community member or student who demonstrates outstanding ethical leadership through their professional and community service across the Bellevue, Omaha and Lincoln areas.
Past recipients have included a young professional who directs after-school programs, a business owner involved with the local school board, and the founder of a nonprofit focused on grief support.

The 2025 award recipient will be announced early next year and recognized at a presentation ceremony.
Ethical Insights is a faculty-led initiative that supports the teaching and learning of ethics across Bellevue University’s colleges. Current members of the Ethical Insights Committee include Committee Chair Karla Carter, JoDee Goracke, Leo Mayhan, David Thomas, Terissa Upchurch-Butler, Leslie Stager, Khalid Ayyubov, and Michael Woodard.
