Bellevue University Online Web Development Program Ranked as One of Nation’s Best by BestColleges.com

Bellevue University’s online Bachelor of Science in Web Development degree program has been selected as one of BestColleges.com’s Best Online Bachelor’s in Web Development programs for 2019. Bellevue University’s program was ranked third based on methodology that includes academic program quality, affordability and online competency.

Web development is one of the fastest-growing career fields in the country. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job prospects for trained web developers are expected to grow by 27% through 2024.

Bellevue University’s Bachelor of Science in Web Development prepares students to build websites and applications as a “full-stack” developer. The program is 100% online and students complete the degree course by course with a community of other students who share their knowledge and life experiences. Near the end of the program, according to Program Director Richard Krasso, “students showcase their work in a Capstone course, which is an immersive boot-camp-like assignment that uses the entire web stack.” After completing their Web Development degree, students may be employed as software developers and programmers, web developers, mobile application engineers, content creators and more across a variety of industries.
