Bellevue University Opens Call for Nominations for Ethical Leadership Award

Bellevue University’s Ethical Insights Committee is now accepting nominations for the Ethical Leadership and Service Award.

The award is presented annually to a community member or student for outstanding leadership in ethics as demonstrated by professional and community service.

Previous winners have included a citizen who cares for a neighborhood playground, a young professional who directs after-school programs and a local businessman who was deeply involved with the local school board, just to name a few.

Ethical Insights is a faculty-driven initiative that fosters the teaching and learning of ethics across the colleges at Bellevue University. The current members of the Ethical Insights Committee include Committee Chair Karla Carter, Associate Professor; Pat Artz, Associate Professor; Leo Mayhan, Assistant Professor; and Dr. Carlos Del Rio, Associate Professor.
