Bellevue University Opens Doors on Faculty and Staff Art Exhibition

Show Will Run May 2 Through May 20 in University Humanities Center

Bellevue University will shine a light on the creative work of its employees during the 2022 Faculty and Staff Art Exhibition. The exhibit opens May 2 and artwork will be on display through May 20 in the Hitchcock Humanities Center, 1040 Bruin Blvd, Bellevue, Nebraska 68005.

According to David Joel Thomas, Program Director of Creative Arts, the exhibition will feature works in various mediums. “Everyone is an artist,” said Thomas. “The show will highlight our fellow-feeling and the pride we have in our institution. It will show us to be an energetic and multivalent, intercollegiate body of dedicated and creative individuals.”

A Welcoming Reception will be held Thursday, May 5, 5-7 p.m. Artists, supporters, family members and the general public are invited to attend and celebrate and enjoy the work of the exhibition participants.
