Bellevue University Partners with CIC, Acadeum to Expand Access to High-Demand Online Courses

Consortium Overview
Bellevue University, one of the nation’s top online universities, will share 100-plus online courses with students from other institutions as a member of the Council of Independent Colleges Online Course Sharing Consortium (CIC OCSC) powered by Acadeum.
The OCSC enables over 300 CIC member colleges and universities across the United States to share high-quality online courses to enhance or create new programs, fill empty seats and keep students on track for timely graduation. The current OCSC course catalog has more than 11,600 courses.

Bellevue University Participation
Bellevue University has a course catalog of more than 1,500 online courses and adds new courses each year. Bellevue will share its General Education courses, major-related courses, full majors, and skill-specific certificate courses through the consortium program.

Dr. Hawkins added that Bellevue University’s 18,000-plus students will also benefit from access to the CIC-OCSC course catalog.
