Bellevue University Partners with Community 1st Credit Union to Offer Tuition Assistance Benefits to Employees, Immediate Family

BELLEVUE, Nebraska – Bellevue University, one of the nation’s leaders in preparing students for lifelong success with career-relevant knowledge and skills, has announced a new partnership with Community 1st Credit Union to offer tuition assistance benefits to its employees interested in continuing their education.

“We are excited to partner with Community 1st Credit Union to offer tuition assistance to career-motivated employees interested in acquiring the education necessary to enhance skills and knowledge for career opportunities,” Jim Nekuda, Bellevue University’s Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, said.

Through the partnership, Community 1st will provide enhanced tuition assistance to its employees and their families. This includes up to $3,500 in additional tuition reimbursement per year for full-time employees. When combined with the current Community 1st education assistance benefit, full-time employees qualify for up to $7,000 per year and part-time employees up to $5,250 per year in tuition assistance at Bellevue University.

Immediate family members of Community 1st Credit Union employees will also qualify for up to $2,500. Employees and their family members can choose from Bellevue University’s more than 50 online bachelor’s degrees and nearly 30 master’s degrees.
