Bellevue University Professor David Thomas to Present at TEDx Omaha 'Connections' Event
Bellevue University Assistant Professor David Joel Thomas, will be one of 10 speakers to take the stage and present his ideas on the narratives and threads that bind us and separate us at the TEDx Omaha event, “Connections,” set for Thursday, Nov. 21 at Creighton University.
Thomas, who is also Program Director of Creative Arts at Bellevue University, will talk about his focused research on the Art + Science Incubator, a collaborative platform that bridges art and science to inspire innovation and interdisciplinary projects, benefiting students, researchers, creators, and the community.
“Art and science may seem worlds apart, but they share a deep connection through curiosity and discovery. The Art + Science Incubator allows these fields to intersect, sparking new ideas and collaborations. My hope is to inspire students and creators to think beyond boundaries and embrace interdisciplinary work, where innovation thrives and we gain a richer understanding of the world around us,” said Thomas.
Thomas specializes in Architecture and Design, Ancient Philosophy and Contemporary Continental Philosophy.
