Marketing Strategy and Google Case Study

Bellevue University has recently been recognized as a best-in-class marketer by Google. Google cited Bellevue University’s integrated approach to leveraging search, YouTube, PMAX, and the entire suite of Google’s industry-leading products has created tangible business impact and growth for the organization—the ideal outcome for any brand.

Bellevue’s results and market leadership were showcased at two of its flagship events for marketers—BRANDFORMANCE NYC and Think Leads NYC. Bellevue, in partnership with its agency partner, Tombras, identified the business impact its investment in YouTube had on the University’s overall media campaign and enrollments during 2024 and 2025. This was translated into a Google case study (see below) and was shared with the most senior leaders of the advertising segment of Google.

Julia Doria, Bellevue University’s Vice President for Growth Marketing

“To be recognized by Google at this level is simply remarkable. It is a testament to Bellevue University’s willingness to embrace new ways of working, to invest in platforms that work, and to work collaboratively internally and externally to make sure we are making the most significant impact possible for the organization and in our quest to reach new students,” said Julia Doria, Vice President of Growth Marketing. “Our partnership with Google is very important, and our team invests time, effort, and energy to ensure our approach to the market is aligned with their prescribed best practices so we can maximize every investment we make.”

Discussion of Marketing Strategy and Results

Doria initially served as a panel expert in a discussion at the BRANDFORMANCE NYC event in June, alongside Anders Mortensen, Managing Director of Lead Generation at Google,  and Dave Wilson, the SVP of Integrated Search at Tombras. The topic, “Full-funnel for Outsized Business Growth,” provided an opportunity for other mid-sized marketers to hear first-hand about the approach Bellevue University took to proving the impact of YouTube investments and the results of continued investment in the platform.

During the Think Leads NYC Event on Sept. 11, Bellevue University was showcased as the lead case study example within the opening keynote presentation delivered by Google’s Vice President of Customer Solutions, John Nicoletti. This event is attended by thousands of global marketing leaders and details new offerings from Google and showcases brands that are taking full advantage of the emerging capabilities.
