Bellevue University Showcases Adjunct’s "Sneakers, Saints, and Musical Greats" Exhibit

Meet the Artist on Dec. 19 At Campus Reception

Art Compilation

Bellevue University will feature adjunct Brian Kear’s exhibit, “Sneakers, Saints, and Musical Greats” which is on display now.

On Tuesday, Dec. 19, from 6 - 8 p.m., attendees will have the chance to meet the artist.

The exhibit and reception will be located in the Joyce Norene Wilson Gallery inside the Hitchcock Humanities Center, at 1040 Bruin Blvd., Bellevue, Nebraska.

The exhibit includes two favorite things of Kears’: sneakers and music, and are the inspiration. The goal Kear had in mind was to fill the whole gallery with art that would spark conversation and provide laughter.

Kear described himself more as a designer rather than an artist and he creates designs depending on the goal in mind.

“When the opportunity to put my work in the gallery came about, I wanted to create some new work that I hadn't previously had on display from other exhibits,” said Kear.

Check out the exhibit now through Saturday, January 20.
