Bellevue University Student Selected for Prestigious FinServ Foundation Program
Maria J. Pinedo Velarde, a Bellevue University student pursuing a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, has been selected to join the FinServ Foundation program.
As part of the program, Pinedo Velarde will attend two industry conferences in San Diego and Nashville, where she will have the opportunity to connect with leaders and peers in the financial services sector. She will also participate in a one-on-one mentorship with an industry expert to develop her skills in finance.
“Being accepted into the FinServ Foundation program gives me the chance to improve my abilities and learn directly from professionals in the field,” said Pinedo Velarde.
The FinServ Foundation is a nonprofit organization that works with universities and colleges to support students as they transition from academic environments into professional roles in the financial services industry.
