Bellevue University to Feature Employee Artwork in Exhibition

Exhibit Will run May 3 through June 3 in Joyce Norene Wilson Art Gallery

Bellevue University will display artwork submitted by its employees at the 2023 Faculty and Staff Art Exhibition.

The public is welcome to view the multimedia exhibit, which will be on display May 3 through June 3 in the Joyce Norene Wilson Art Gallery. The gallery is located inside the Hitchcock Humanities Center, 1040 Bruin Blvd, Bellevue, Nebraska 68005.

"Art is a proposition. It breaks ground for new ways of perceiving, feeling, thinking, and being. It is an exploration and experimentation generating unique and productive encounters and confrontations between aspects and realities of the world that would otherwise be considered isolated, unrelated, not to say, invisible,” said David Joel Thomas, Program Director of Creative Arts.

Bellevue University’s Creative Arts program includes online and on-campus courses in art appreciation, drawing, painting, photography and more. For more information, visit https://www.bellevue.edu/degrees/academic-catalog/course-listing/AR/
