Bellevue University to Host Open House for Military Veteran Services Center
Bellevue University and the Military Services team invite the community to attend an open house for the Military Veteran Services Center (MVSC).
The event will be held on Friday, Nov. 21 at 4:00 p.m. at the MVSC’s new location in the John B. Muller Administrative Services Building, 812 Bruin Blvd., Bellevue, Nebraska.
The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, opportunities to meet with military-related vendors, and a raffle drawing for a gift basket. Light refreshments will be provided.
“By moving Military and Veteran Services to the John B. Muller Administrative Services Building, we are continuing to provide veterans with access to the support and resources available to them,” said Ashlea Rodriguez, Manager of the Military Veteran Services Center. “This location helps us deliver services that support veterans and their families.”
The MVSC provides services and programs for the military and veteran community, including:

- Professional and Personal Development
- Health and Wellness Programs
- Veteran & Military Organizations

Evening Event Featuring Amazing Arthur
Following the open house, the MVSC will host a free evening event featuring speaker and magician Amazing Arthur from 6 to 7:15 p.m. in the Hitchcock Humanities Center Auditorium on the Bellevue campus. Arthur will speak on goal-setting, stress management, and resiliency, focusing on military and veteran life and, of course, magic.
RSVP is required to attend the Amazing Arthur presentation.
