Bellevue University to Showcase The Poet Solace Taylor’s ‘Short Poems and Bread Collections’ with Artist Reception and Music Debut

Bellevue University will present “Short Poems and Bread Collections,” a multimedia experience by The Poet Solace Taylor that blends fashion, music, and poetry.

A special artist reception will be held on Tuesday, September 17, from 5 to 8 p.m., where attendees can meet Solace Taylor and explore his work. The reception will take place at the Joyce Norene Wilson Gallery, located within the Hitchcock Humanities Center at 1040 Bruin Blvd., Bellevue, Nebraska. 

During the event, at 7 p.m., Solace Taylor will debut his new music video, “Full Head of Steam.”

The “Short Poems and Bread Collections” exhibit will be on display until Friday, September 27.

About the Artist:

The Poet Solace Taylor, also known as Taylor Gehman, is a multimedia artist and the founder of FEEDTHEPOET®, an independent streetwear brand focused on promoting social awareness and self-love. A former Nebraska Husker Football player, Solace now channels his efforts into visual arts, fashion design, and music production. He has worked with professional athletes and Grammy-winning artists like Doodlebug from Digable Planets, and has collaborated with members of the Dungeon Family and Ruff Ryders music groups. This fall, Solace will release his new EP, GAME-N-ARTS vol.1.
