Event Details
On Wednesday, April 23, Bellevue University will hold the grand opening of its new Field House at 2102 Harvell Circle in Bellevue.
The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the new 72,000-plus square foot facility and a Bruins volleyball scrimmage match against Iowa Western Community College.
Doors will open at 4 p.m., with the program beginning at 4:15 p.m.
"We are excited to officially open the Field House that has been a long time need. It represents a new era for Bellevue University Bruins and is a space that will serve our students, athletes and our community," said University President, Mary Hawkins. "This new facility reflects our ongoing commitment to providing outstanding opportunities for our students and bringing the Bellevue community together for years to come."
Volleyball Scrimmage and Visitor Information
Following the short program, attendees will be able to take self-guided tours of the Field House to view the facility’s design and features.
Attendees are invited to stay and cheer on the Bellevue Bruins volleyball team as they scrimmage against the Iowa Western Community College Reivers. The match will start at 6 p.m.
Admission to the game is free, and parking for the match will be available in Lot G, next to the Field House or in Lot E in front of the John B. Muller Administrative Services Building. Concessions will be available for purchase (cash only).
