Bellevue University to Welcome Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s Educating America Tour

The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) will bring its national Educating America Tour: Alzheimer’s & Caregiving Conference to the Omaha metro area on Wednesday, Sept. 17. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the campus of Bellevue University, inside the Hitchcock Humanities Building (1040 Bruin Blvd., Bellevue, Neb.).

Omaha, Nebraska is one of nine selected stops on AFA’s 2025 national tour, which connects local communities with information, support, and resources for those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.

Doors open at 9 a.m. for complimentary breakfast, registration, and networking. Parking is available in Lots A and B.

The conference is free and open to caregivers, individuals living with dementia, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about Alzheimer’s disease.

Speakers will cover topics related to diagnosis, treatment, care, and legal planning.
