Bellevue University Volleyball Coach Trish Siedlik Nominated for Coach of the Year

Omaha Sports Commission 2024 Awards to Be Announced May 30

Bellevue University women's volleyball coach Trish Siedlik has been nominated for the Omaha Sports Commission's 2024 Female Coach of the Year. 

Coach Siedlik guided the Bruins to a 26-10 record this past fall, a second place finish in the North Star Athletic Association regular season, runner-up finish in the NSAA Tournament, and the program's 16th NAIA National Tournament Appearance.

The Omaha Sports Commission Awards Show presented by the Lerner Company, affectionately known as the OSCAS, honors top athletes, coaches and sport performances from the Omaha metropolitan area via individual award and by inducting the next Omaha Sports Hall of Fame class.

Coach Siedlik is among five nominees for the award which will be presented at the end of May. This year's event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 30 at the Relevant Center in Elkhorn, Neb.

A Red Carpet Cocktail Reception presented by Olsson beginning at 5:30 p.m. will precede the Awards Show, slated to get underway at 7 p.m.
