Bellevue University’s Diping Huang Earns Spot On Midlands Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 List

BELLEVUE, Nebraska – Diping Huang, Global Relationship Manager of International Programs and Designated School Official (DSO) at Bellevue University, has been selected as a 2020 recipient of the Midlands Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Awards, honoring 40 Greater Omaha, Council Bluffs and Sarpy County entrepreneurs, executives and professionals under the age of 40.

“I’m honored to be selected as a recipient of this year’s 40 Under 40 Awards,” Huang said. “Students should have equal opportunities to access quality education, reach their full potential, and succeed and at Bellevue University they’re able to do that and more. I’m happy to be recognized with such a phenomenal group of professionals.”

In her position, Huang manages relationships involving institutional and student compliance with the rules and regulations of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), coordination of support services addressing specific needs of students, as well as develops pathways and directs learning initiatives in collaboration with academic and administrative leadership of both Bellevue University and the partner organization. Previously, she worked as a Grants & Scholarships Specialist.

Along with her colleagues, Huang designed and implemented innovative and effective scholarship practices that impact the ability of first-generation college students to access and be successful in higher education. In 2017, their work was recognized by the National Scholarship Providers Association.

Huang also serves on multiple national and local scholarship committees such as Thurgood Marshall College Fund, the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund, TheDream.US and Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund.

A special edition of Midlands Business Journal will be published Dec. 4 featuring profiles on all 40 winners. An award ceremony is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 12, 2021.
