BU Graduate Student Named to Midlands Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 List

Wissam Zeineddine has been selected as a 2020 recipient of the Midlands Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Awards, honoring 40 Greater Omaha, Council Bluffs and Sarpy County entrepreneurs, executives and professionals under the age of 40.

Since 2016, Zeineddine has been a vital member of the leadership team at Midwest Maintenance Company Inc.. Midwest Maintenance is a building services contractor company that offers commercial cleaning services, janitorial services, and floor care, and which has been serving the Greater Omaha business community since 2007.

In 2009, Zeineddine earned his associate degree in Business Administration and Management and went on to earn his MBA in Business Finance and International Management from Bellevue University in 2012. Currently, Zeineddine is pursuing his Ph.D. at Bellevue University studying Human Capital Management and is halfway through his dissertation project on refugee acculturation, adaptation and inclusion in Nebraska. Zeineddine also earned his master’s degree in Biochemistry (Teaching Diploma in Sciences) from the Lebanese University in 2006.

Zeineddine is currently developing and in the process of implementing the Supervisors’ Program with the collaboration of Metropolitan Community College (MCC) and is one of the six development leaders, at Midwest Maintenance, of the Entrepreneurial Operating System to integrate a holistic business model while building leadership teams of growth-oriented culture. He is also a Registered Building Service Manager with Building Service Contractor International (BSCAI), a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) member, and in the process of acquiring his SHRM-SCP certification.

Currently, Zeineddine represents Midwest Maintenance as a member of various diversity and inclusion groups, such as the Circle Group in Omaha and Commitment to Opportunity, Diversity, and Equality (CODE) to bring awareness to employee issues within the community.
