Cassling Partners With Bellevue University for New Leadership Series

New Program for Healthcare Execs Expands on Company’s Successful Investing in You Program

Cassling, an Advanced Partner of Siemens Healthineers, has announced it will expand its well-known Investing in You education program for imaging professionals and launch the Cassling Leadership Institute for healthcare industry executives, administrators and leaders. The new e-learning institute, in partnership with Bellevue University, will launch with the first of four quarterly webinars in late February 2019.

According to Cassling President, Kyle Salem, Ph.D., continuing education is not only a requirement for clinical and patient-facing staff, but also a necessity for those in any leadership position. “These courses are an opportunity for healthcare execs to sharpen their leadership skills, prepare for the latest trends in hospital management and be ready to steer their healthcare systems through the challenges that lie ahead in 2019 and into the future,” he said. The courses are offered at no cost to participants.

Since 2004, Cassling’s Investing in You seminars and webinars have supplied CE credits to thousands of front-line imaging professionals. Cassling has helped radiologic technologists, sonographers and department managers maintain their certifications and stay up to date on a variety of clinical trends and topics.

Michelle Eppler, Dean of Bellevue University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education and Associate Vice President of the University’s Human Capital Lab, added that “the Cassling Leadership Institute is a great example of how professional development can enhance leaders’ abilities to obtain organizational goals. Bellevue University excels at meeting the needs of adult learners. We’re excited to support Cassling’s efforts to strengthen leaders in their organizations and the healthcare industry as a whole.”

The curriculum for the institute’s quarterly webinars was developed with Bellevue University and each course has been approved for one continuing education credit from the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). The individual courses will be presented live on the designated dates each quarter and then hosted as on-demand courses that can be accessed at participants’ convenience. The four quarterly webinar dates and topics are:

  • Feb. 27, 2019 – Enhancing Your Leadership With Evidence Based Practices;
  • May 1, 2019 – Navigating the Stress of Organizational Change;
  • Aug. 21, 2019 – Analyzing Performance Issues and Leading the Right Way;
  • Nov. 13, 2019 – Emotional Intelligence: Sharing Thinking for Workplace Success.

Registration is now open online for the Feb. 27 webinar.
