Celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day at Omaha Regional Workshop with Bellevue University Coach Trish Siedlik

On Feb. 4, 2026, women coaches from across the region will gather at the College of Saint Mary in Omaha to celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day. Trish Siedlik, Bellevue University’s Women’s Volleyball Head Coach, will join a lineup of speakers, including Dr. Karen Kassebaum, Heather Brink, Jessica Hessel, and more.

The one-day regional workshop, running from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m., gives participants the opportunity to connect with other coaches, discuss challenges in the profession, and take away strategies to implement immediately. The workshop is open to current and aspiring women coaches at all levels—from youth and club sports to high school and college programs. Administrators, allies, and other industry professionals can also attend.

About Trish Siedlik

Trish Siedlik is the Women’s Volleyball Head Coach at Bellevue University and Assistant Athletic Director. Entering her 20th season in 2025, she has guided the Bruins to 16 NAIA National Tournament appearances in 18 seasons, including a 2024 National Runner-Up finish. She holds a 664-221 career record and ranks among the top active NAIA coaches in wins and winning percentage.

Under her leadership, Bellevue has won multiple conference regular-season and tournament titles, produced over 40 NAIA All-Americans, and emphasized athlete development, leadership, and academic success. Siedlik also played collegiate volleyball at the College of Saint Mary, earning MCAC Player of the Year and All-American honors.
