Dean's Perspective: The Power of Partnerships

Rebecca1

This issue of Innovating Business for Real Life focuses on unique and exemplary outcomes of partnership innovation within the College of Business. Opening doors to life-changing opportunities for our students is a key strategic aim of our partnership innovation strategies. These collaborations include top employers, community colleges, military bases, and diverse global organizations. Additionally, Bellevue University and the College of Business believe that collaboration and partnerships are essential for building stronger workplaces, communities, and global connections.

First, it is our pleasure to showcase the Master of Business Administration Program (MBA). This successful program was one of the first in the U.S. to be offered as a fully online program back in 1995. This type of academic offering was certainly innovative for its time. However, the growth of the program and the success of its students is due in large measure to the collaborative relationship between Bellevue University and its strategic partners. Those partners place a high strategic value on educational opportunities that truly advance the professional and career aims of their employees. We hope you enjoy reading how the MBA faculty and MBA program have been instrumental in achieving those aims.

It is our pleasure to feature the work of Dr. Stephen Linenberger, Professor of Leadership, in the College of Business. We hope you enjoy reading about Dr. Linenberger’ s professional journey and the exemplary work he influences as a professor, program director, and key liaison with one of Bellevue University’s important partners—the Yeshiva Initiatives Education Programs (YIEP).

Sincerely,

Rebecca T. Murdock, Ed. D., MBA

Dean, Bellevue University College of Business
