Dr. Julia Cronin-Gilmore Named Finalist for 2024 CUES Distinguished Director Award
Dr. Julia Cronin-Gilmore has been named one of the top five finalists for the 2024 CUES Distinguished Director Award, presented by the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES). This prestigious award honors board members who have made significant contributions to the advancement and success of their credit unions. Notably, Dr. Cronin-Gilmore is the only female to make the top five in this category.
The winner for the Distinguished Director Award receives complimentary registration to the CUES Directors Conference, a trophy, an interview with CUES CEO Heather McKissick, and recognition at an award celebration. They will also be featured on CUES’ social media platforms and receive $500 to donate to a charity of their choice.
Dr. Cronin-Gilmore has been a board member for Cobalt Credit Union for 15 years and became Chair in January 2020. She is a Professor and Director of the Doctor of Business Administration program at Bellevue University, where she has been teaching since 2000 and leading marketing initiatives.
Dr. Cronin-Gilmore has received numerous awards and recognitions for her research studies and for excellence in teaching. She published a book titled Small Business Marketing Strategy in 2010 and serves on several editorial boards, including the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council. She is also the Editor of the Journal for Excellence in Business and Education (JEBE).
Dr. Cronin-Gilmore holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration, a Master of Arts in Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
