Give Back This Season: Bellevue University Library Accepting Holiday Donations

The Freeman/Lozier Library at Bellevue University has opened its annual Holiday Donation Center, inviting students, faculty, staff, and community members to donate items to support local organizations during the holiday season.

Donations can be dropped off at the library from Nov. 1 through Dec. 13. The library is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Holiday Donation Center will support:

Bellevue Food Pantry

• Nonperishable food

• Kitchen and bathroom items

Girls Inc. (Gently Used Items)

• Clothing and shoes

• School supplies, office and art supplies

• Cleaning supplies

• Furniture, shoe boxes, magazines

• Fidget toys and dress-up costumes

Ronald McDonald House

• Pop tabs

• Paper towels, toilet paper

• Individual cereal boxes/cups

• Plastic utensils

• Dish towels and wash cloths

• Sheets, cleaning products

• K-cups, hand sanitizer

• Hygiene products

• Paper plates, kitchen paper products

• Baby wipes, trash bags

• Laundry supplies, diapers

Open Door Mission – Medicine Chest Donations

• Adult and kid cold medicine (alcohol-free)

• Melatonin, Pedialyte

• Tylenol or aspirin

• Pepto Bismol, Tums

• Cough drops

• Neosporin, Mucinex

• Hydrocortisone cream

• Latex-free gloves

• Band-Aids
