NHA Claims Power of A Award

The Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) has received a 2016 “Power of A” Award from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). NHA was honored for its Leadership Institute, an innovative program that provides personalized, facility-specific, and industry-leading leadership education to Critical Care Hospitals throughout Nebraska.

a-awardNHA partnered with Bellevue University to develop the impactful program that received this selective, annual recognition in “The Power to Create a Competitive Workforce” category. The “Power of A” Awards honor and celebrate the extraordinary contributions associations make to society by enriching lives, creating a competitive workforce, preparing society for the future, driving innovation and making a better world.

“Our Leadership Institute has advanced the healthcare industry statewide,” said Jon Borton, vice president of education at NHA. “The model developed with Bellevue University has been used as a template for hospital and healthcare associations nationwide. This honor is more validation of the program’s success, which has positively impacted the profession we represent.”
