head shot

New Visions Homeless Services has announced Stan Hawkins as its latest board of directors member. New Visions Homeless Services was founded in 1995 and serves the homeless and hungry of the Council Bluffs and Omaha area. Its mission is to provide help, hope, and opportunity to those in need.

“It is very exciting to serve in this role and I hope to help lift up this organization and the people that need extra help,” said Hawkins.

Hawkins joined Bellevue University in January 2020 as the Assistant Director of Military programs. During the first year, Hawkins solidified partnerships with the National Cryptologic University at the NSA, the Joint Special Operations University at MacDill AFB, and Keesler AFB to include hosting the installation’s National Testing Center for CLEP and DANTES testing. Additionally, Hawkins forged a relationship with Phalanx, a national contract group that guides and advises the SOF (Special Operations Forces) with their individual education needs.

In September of 2021, Hawkins stepped into the role as Director for Bellevue University’s new Government Key Market account. In this role, Hawkins oversees the University’s Military Veteran Services Center and all of its government and military accounts.
