Upcoming Changes to Bellevue University Alumni Email Accounts
Bellevue University recently implemented a Single Sign On technology management solution to enhance identity security and secure access to frequently used applications for all members of our community.
With this implementation and associated changes in our vendor licensing agreements, we are required to close alumni email accounts that are inactive.
The change in university policy will occur on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020.
On that date:
- Alumni email accounts that are inactive will be closed. Inactive accounts are defined as accounts where the password has not been updated in the previous 27 months.
- If you have updated your password in the previous 27 months, your alumni email account will not be impacted. However, you should regularly update your password to ensure it stays active.
Alumni who do not update their email account password prior to the November 20 cutoff date will be able to request a new alumni email address after that date. However, the new email account would not contain any messages from your prior accounts.
