What’s New with the 2024-2025 FAFSA Form Launch

FAFSA Filing Updates and Support

If you or your student has filed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) this year, you may have noticed the form has changed. If you haven’t, you may still have time to file. The new 2024-2025 form expands eligibility for federal student aid including Pell Grants and was designed to give you a streamlined user experience.  However, students and colleges are reporting delays in accessing eligibility info and in processing aid packages. As a result, deadlines for some states may be adjusted. Check FAFSA deadlines for the state you live in here.  And stay up to date on all things about federal aid by going to StudentAid.gov/announcements-events/fafsa-support and by following FAFSA on their social channels. StudentAid.gov also provides pro tips on how to fill out the new FAFSA.
