World-Renowned Leadership Expert Will Conduct Workshop May 17-18

Reception for Prospective Graduate Students Will Be Held in Conjunction With Workshop

Bellevue University will host two events in mid May – one for emerging leaders and one for prospective students – at its Lozier Professional Center campus located at 2810 N. 118th Street in Omaha.

The first event is a two-day “From Manager to Remarkable Leader” public workshop conducted by world-renowned leadership expert Kevin Eikenberry on Thursday and Friday, May 17-18 and sponsored by the University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education. According to Jon Titus, Director of Continuing Education, attendees at the Bellevue University workshop will be the very first participants of Eikenberry’s redesigned workshop. “This is an exclusive opportunity for those in management roles to learn how to tap the leadership potential that exists within them,” said Titus. “Attendees will take away actionable techniques that help them master effective leadership in their own organizations.”

General registration for the select two-day workshop is $795. Group discounts (five people or more) are available. The workshop is limited to 40 participants, and each participant will receive a copy of Eikenberry’s best-selling book, Remarkable Leadership: Unleashing Your Leadership Potential One Day at a Time. To register for the workshop, go to http://www.bellevue.edu/degrees/continuing-education/special-event.

The second event is a Bellevue University Deans’ Reception, a free informational gathering for prospective graduate students on Thursday, May 17, 5-7 p.m. At the reception, Kevin Eikenberry will speak and Rebecca Murdock, Dean of the College of Business, will share insights about what areas businesses are looking for to fill leadership roles in their organizations. Other Bellevue University Deans and Program Directors will also be on hand to discuss degree course curriculums and degree choices, graduate scholarships and financial aid options. Those who RSVP by Monday, May 14 for the Dean’s Reception will be placed into a drawing for one free registration for the two-day Eikenberry workshop, valued at $795. To RSVP for the reception, go to http://www.bellevue.edu/event-forms/deans-reception/.
