Hogan, Chairman and co-founder of Omaha-based Home Instead Senior Care, urged the graduates to enjoy the occasion and offered advice for a meaningful satisfying life. His advice, gleaned from a major survey of four generations of Americans, fell under three “F’s.” Finances, Faith, and Family.  He also recommended a fourth “bonus F,” Franchising, as “a great opportunity for anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit.”

Hogan co-founded Home Instead with his wife Lori in 1994. To date, company franchises have provided services to more than 1,000,000 seniors. Home Instead is the largest senior care business of its kind in the world, with nearly 1,000 franchise offices employing 65,000 care givers throughout the U.S. and 15 additional countries.
